높은 건물, 비좁은 공간, 붐비는 사람들.
전체를 다 알기에는 거대하고 복잡한 곳.
멀리서 바라보기보다 여기저기 돌아다녀야
자세히 볼 수 있는 서울(02).
알 수 있는 건 고작 작은 구석이지만,
모양과 무늬가 만드는 우연한 구성과
작은 사람들이 보내는 각자의 시간이
제법 근사하게 이곳저곳에 존재한다.
열심히 보는 사람의 철없는 바람으로
놓치기 아쉬운 풍경을 붙잡고자 한다.

Too big and complicated to know the whole thing.
You have to go around here and there rather than
looking at it from afar to know it better.
Named after Seoul’s area code,
『02』 depicts 15 landscapes seen from Seoul.
All you know is only a tiny corner of it.
But the accidental composition of shapes and patterns,
and the time that little people spend exist here and there
quite nicely.
With the immature wish of a hard-working viewer
the scenery that is hard to miss is captured in this book.
